The Criticism starts

Okay, my short story site is being shot down by hoards of writers. This idea seems to be getting peripheral criticism as well:

The same guy has another blog for a "free" monthly scavenger hunt."My idea is to start a FREE monthly scavenger hunt. The monthly hunt would be a contest to find specific phrases and content on websites."Wonder what's up with that? Has he never heard of Google?

Oh well. I have heard of google but that is a search engine. This idea would be a contest and lead to more scrutiny of websites, which would hopefully lead to more traffic for those websites.

I'll keep working on the fine details. Hopefully Short Story will get some positive press, but I am not optimistic.

The Idea

My idea is to start a FREE monthly scavenger hunt. The monthly hunt would be a contest to find specific phrases and content on websites. This "hunt" would be timed and the fastest three people would win points (which could be traded in for cash) or free subscriptions to websites.

These websites would initially be of my choosing, but after a period of time they would hopefully contact me for inclusion in the monthly contest. The difficult part is finding the sites and advertising the monthly contest.

More to come as the ideas grinds through my head.
